Sample DHTML/JavaScript client

We have developed a sample RSS-TV compliant client using just AJAX/HTML technology. You can see the sample client application on the demo section of this website. You can also download the source code and play with it:

Instructions

Download the ZIP file to a machine that runs a web server such as Microsoft IIS or Apache.
Extract the ZIP file to the wwwroot directory.
Start the demo from a browser using the URL http://localhost/iptv.html and select 'PC'

Test documentation

We have compiled a number of test cases for testing RSS-TV compliant client devices. The test document is included in the Source Code ZIP file and located in the docs directory. You can also click here to download the test document by itself.
Note: To run the 'USER INPUT' test cases you need to have .NET installed, or translate the included .ASPX pages to another language such as PHP or Java.

Supported devices

The source code contains an RSS-TV implementation for MCE, MSN TV, PC, Thomson (RCA) Mamba platform and ARCHOS 604. RSS-TV implementations for more broadband devices will follow.
